Nice work, mate. But 55,000 to go? I'd be starting to wrap it up around now. That's why I put that 80,000 word clause in my contract. LOL.

JJ, that's why my next novel's going to be a thriller! 80,000 words sound about right. I'm tired of big epic drama!

I think your style will adapt well to the 'tighter' thriller style of writing, Ray. In today's fast-paced society, readers want that sharper writing style. You know, short chapters, action and a style that allows the reader to use their imagination. Well...that's what I think (hope) anyway.

I think so. I have a conversational, precise style. I hope -- HOPE -- that it will translate well to suspense/thriller.
